Finally, the music industry’s most anticipated evening has come! The best names in pop, rock, and hip-hop have come together for a night of celebration and incredible performances at the 2025 Grammy Awards, which are taking place tonight at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

The top nominees are Sabrina Carpenter, Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and Chappell Roan. For the fifth year in a row, comedian Trevor Noah will serve as the host. The Beatles, Charli XCX, Carpenter, and Kendrick Lamar are among the early winners; Beyoncé is the first Black woman to win Best Country Album.

The Weeknd, who had previously boycotted the Grammys due to perceived snubs, is making a strong return in a dramatic turn of events by playing songs from his most recent album, Hurry Up Tomorrow.

Devastating wildfires in California are the background for this year’s celebration. To ensure that music’s greatest night also acts as a forum for unity, the Recording Academy has responded by pledging to utilise the occasion to aid local relief efforts.

With performers like Shakira, Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, British superstar RAYE, and viral phenomenon Teddy Swims gracing the stage, the evening promises to be spectacular as always. Kanye West, however, caused controversy once more when it was reported that he was “removed” from the event after showing up with his wife, Bianca Censori.
